Osan Child Development Center
The Osan Child Development Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Providing more than just full day child care, the Osan CDC staff focus on the development of the child as a whole. They provide many hands-on activities with an emphasis on child-initiated play experiences, so that the children learn in all areas of development. The CDC follows the USDA food program guidelines to provide nutritious meals and snacks for the children. Infants are provided formula (specific brands only) and baby food through the food program. Reservations may be made at the center for hourly care on a space-available basis. Fees for this program are determined using a sliding scale based on total family income. Children with special needs are mainstreamed into the child development programs on a case-by-case basis based on individual education plans. The CDC offers child care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. A part-day preschool program is available for children 3-5 years old.
